Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (libs) Laser induced flourescence (lif) Spectrophotometry / colorimetry Time-Gated Pulsed Raman Spectroscopy
Prototype designed to merge Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy (LIF), Raman spectroscopy using a single pulsed laser, and reflectance spectroscopy in a multi-spectral characterization system for cultural heritage analysis (SYSPECTRAL). The aim is to analyze cultural heritage materials in their original place, obtaining both elemental and molecular information at such same point that is not always insured with several separated experimental settings.
Adapting the laser pulse energy (fluence), LIF, Raman spectroscopy and LIBS can be carried out and after laser ablation (LIBS analysis), this series of analyses can be performed in depth and offer the stratigraphical information.
LIBS is not a non-destructive technique.
