Method: Multidepth EMI

conductivity and susceptibility mapping
Description
Multidepth Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) uses multiple receiver coils at different spacings and orientations to measure electrical conductivity and magnetic susceptibility at several effective investigation depths simultaneously. This non-contact approach enables rapid mapping of lateral and vertical subsurface variations, helping identify archaeological remains, sediment changes, palaeochannels, and other conductive or magnetic features.
