Description
The remote UV LIF system uses a 13 mJ pulsed 355nm laser to irradiate a ~1 mm spot and induce fluorescence in a material at a working distance of 3 m – 30 m. The emission spectra from the region is collected via a UV-VIS-NIR spectrometer with a spectral range of 360 nm – 900 nm at a spectral resolution of 2.8 nm. The whole system is mounted on a computer-controlled pan/tilt stage allowing automated fluorescence mapping of a region. To provide accurate positioning a small camera is also co-aligned with the system to record the measurement region
